Alumni-hosted parties welcome new students to USF
What is a Hometown Round-Up?
USF Hometown Round-Ups are exciting, informal events held for incoming USF freshmen and their families prior to the start of the fall semester. These free events are a chance for students and parents to meet other families and to learn more about USF. They also offer local alumni an opportunity to welcome students as they join our Bulls family.
Round-Ups are held in cities throughout the United States and take place during the summer, typically beginning in July and concluding in early August. A list of this year’s participating cities are coming soon and will posted below and on Facebook when announced. Invitations will be mailed to students and families in late May/early June.
Student and Parents - Welcome to the USF Family!
We hope you'll join us at a Round-Up party near you! Food will be served at each Round-Up and every incoming freshman attending will receive USF giveaways and be eligible to win door prizes. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to:
Alumni - You're Invited!
- Ask questions of alumni and returning students, as well as university staff that may be in attendance
- Meet other incoming students - make friends before you even leave for the university!
- Meet other parents who live in your area
Round-Up parties are one of our alumni’s favorite annual events and there’s no question as to why! The events allow you the chance to reminisce on your college days, connect with other alumni in your area and help young adults as they embark on their exciting new adventure at USF! We hope you will plan to join in on the fun at a party if one is planned in your area this summer.
