Well over 100 people attended this year's event, our fifth annual, held for the fourth year in a row at the Gibbons Alumni Center on the USF Tampa campus. Highlights included a special performance by Crescendo: The Tampa Bay Women's Chorus, and a talk by Betty Castor, former USF President, who just recently stepped down as the director of USF's Patel Center for Global Solutions.
The Spring GALA is made possible through the USF Alumni Association, the USF LGBT Alumni Society, the USF Committee on Issues of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (CISOGI), the USF student PRIDE Alliance, the USF Safe Zone program, and members of the Tampa Bay LGBT community. |
