Lower Salmon River Whitewater Adventure

July 18-24, 2010

The Salmon River offers an amazing backdrop to one of the West’s classic whitewater river adventures. Massive canyon walls, remote wilderness and rich human history surround us as we experience the thrill of running numerous whitewater rapids on this “River of No Return” adventure. We will spend time exploring the natural and human history of the canyon, hiking to ancient pictograph and petroglyph sites, observing wildlife and swimming in the quiet pools of this free-flowing river. Class III and Class IV rapids highlight our float through the stunning scenery of Idaho’s backcountry. Evenings allow us time to unwind from the day’s excitement as we enjoy delicious gourmet meals under a brilliant night sky. This adventure is appropriate for anyone seven years and older, and is ideal for beginners and seasoned rafters.

Approximately $1,749 plus tax per person. Airfare not included.
