Alumni-hosted parties welcome new students to USF

What is a Hometown Round-Up? 
USF Hometown Round-Ups are alumni-hosted events held for incoming USF freshmen and their families prior to the start of the fall semester. These free events are a chance for students and parents to meet other families and to learn more about USF. They also offer local alumni an opportunity to welcome students as they join our Bulls family.

Round-Ups are held in cities throughout the United States and take place during the summer, typically beginning in July and concluding in early August. Invitations will be mailed to students and families in late May/early June.

We hope you'll join us at a Round-Up party near you! Food will be served at each Round-Up and every incoming freshman attending will receive USF giveaways and be eligible to win door prizes, including a $100 gift card to the USF Bookstore. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to: 

• Ask questions of alumni and returning students, as well as university staff that may be in attendance 
• Meet other incoming students - make friends before you even leave for the university!
• Meet other parents who live in your area
