Each year, dozens of USF alumni and friends travel with the USF Alumni Association, discovering unique destinations around the world, and making new friends and renewing their connections to the university along the way. Trips are open to all alumni and friends of USF. Throughout the past decade, the USF Alumni Travel program has taken our travelers on unforgettable journeys to top destinations like Holland, Russia, France, Italy, the Virgin Islands, Alaska, Peru, and more.
Why should I travel with the USF Alumni Association?
USF has rapidly become a global leader for education and research. Increasingly, current USF students are encouraged to travel abroad to gain an appreciation for other cultures and to enrich their educational experiences. The USF Alumni Association believes that learning should continue after leaving the university, and travel is an important element in a life-long pursuit for education. Our goal is to select tours that are not only desirable from a vacation or sightseeing perspective, but that offer historic or cultural elements that add up to a meaningful, and often life-changing, experience for our travelers.
In addition to the educational opportunities afforded by traveling with the USF Alumni Association, travelers also experience the benefits of organized group travel. You are guaranteed to meet new fun, interesting, and adventurous people in your group! Plus, your only responsibilities during your trip are to relax, learn something new, and have fun. Every detail, from transportation and lodging to sightseeing activities, is taken care of so that your trip is 100 percent worry-free. And while for some travelers a group tour may seem too rigid, a great deal of flexibility is actually built into every tour so you have the freedom to see and do the things you like.

Our Tour Partners
Our trips are coordinated by reputable tour companies that are experts in providing excellent travel experiences for alumni groups. At least one professional from the tour provider - as well as a representative from USF when possible - accompanies the group on every tour.
All reservations must be booked directly with the tour provider for the specific trip you are interested in. Contact information for the tour provider can be found in the description of each tour

if you would like a representative to contact you about a particular tour. A deposit is required to reserve your space on a trip, with final payment due a few months before the tour departs.
To fully take part in and enjoy the travel experience, participants need to be in good physical and mental health. Many trips require considerable walking, often on hilly or uneven surfaces. Sometimes there are also numerous steps and stairs, some without handrails. Please discuss your physical constraints at the time of registration so that we can advise you of the physical requirements of the specific trip you are interested in and describe the accessibility in the area that you plan to visit. Participants who require assistance for a disability must be accompanied by a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the required assistance. Traveling companions cannot and will not be provided by the tour operator or the USF Alumni Association.
Tour participants are subject to the cancellation and refund policies governing the particular trip for which they are registered. In some cases cancellation penalties can be up to 100 percent of the trip cost. Please contact us as soon as possible when you learn you may need to cancel your trip.

It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellation and/or interruption, baggage loss or damage, emergency medical coverage and evacuation, and all accidents that might take place while (or before) traveling. You will receive insurance information with your tour confirmation packet but are not obligated to use our provider. Please pay close attention to stipulations about insuring a pre-existing condition and/or “cancel for any reason” coverage.
