More than 50 alumni leaders from across the U.S. participated in the 2011 Alumni Academy, an annual leadership training retreat for all USF Alumni Association volunteers. Held in Sarasota, Fla. on the beautiful USF Sarasota-Manatee campus, attendees learned about new initiatives of the Alumni Association and best practices for improving their chapters or societies in the areas of event planning, communications, group finances, and student relations.
